I did a ride out to Crown Point last weekend, and in the past I've used the water bubbler at the Women's Forum viewpoint to refill my bottles. The fountain was gone with a traffic cone on top of where its base used to be.
Does anyone know what happened to it, and if it's coming back? I'm not quite sure who to ask who maintains that site. Scott |

You might start with ODOT. If they don't know, they will know who to contact.

Thank goodness for the public restrooms at Bridal Veil Falls Trailhead and Multnomah Falls Lodge! Not so helpful if you're going up Larch Mountain rd though...

it's an Oregon State Park, so they'd likely be the ones to ask.

Thanks for the responses, I emailed Oregon State Parks and received the following response:
The fountain was damaged by an unknown event that resulted in the base being very loose and needing to be repaired. Our Ranger staff will be reinstalling it in the next week as soon as we can get to it. It is one of the more used fountains we have in the Gorge and is very important to us as well- so you can be assured it will be working soon. So it should be back in action fairly soon. Scott |
