I keep wanting to make a wind chime out of some of my old bike parts... problem is tuning the tubes (which I also don't have).

I did that with my old Bianchi when the frame when the down post split from the crank. Cut up the frame. Used the front gear to separate and suspend the tubes and the smaller gear as the clanker. The chain to hang it. Even used the cables to hang the tubes. It looked amazing! Then I went to clang it to discover that aluminum doesn't clang worth the all the effort. Still... looks cool.

Here's a pic of the wind chime. Looks cool, but sounds dull as tin (aluminum, actually). Every piece was once part of my good friend.
