Tigard Community Ride May 19

Hi all!

I thought I'd post this here-- several citizens in Tigard have put together a community ride for this Saturday morning, May 19.

The route is essentially the same as the family ride on the back of the Tigard bike map. We will have copies of cue sheets and extra maps to give out.

The ride is for all ages, although younger children may prefer to do the kid ride with their parents. The kid ride uses the Fanno Creek Trail between the Tigard Library and Main St.

The main ride route is about 7.8 miles roundtrip and starts at City Hall off Hall Blvd at 10am. There will be a short safety talk prior to the ride start. It should take an hour or so to do the ride, which goes from City Hall to Cook Park and back, ending at Max's Fanno Creek Brew Pub in the back room.

The ride is structured like as a poker run. There will be "checkpoints" along the way where you pick up your playing cards. Best poker hand wins a prize! We will also have a limited number of goody bags for kids.
