when i was into bmx we'd go to freestyle/bmx demos that are like things like the dew tour but totally dinky in comparison. sometimes there would be a couple trials riders. they would always blow minds. i could do some dirt jumping and when no dirt was around we'd find anything to jump off of and other things to try to jump up, but nothing like in that video. go to youtube and enter "trials"
here's a cool one, with terrible music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1F7z4HxpWfA and finally; one day i met a friend downtown at the square. we had coffee and were sitting there on the steps. there were a couple dudes on their bikes up at the top of the steps there, the ones on the SW corner, right. i'm watching them and one of them rides to the corner, and just a bit into the intersection of broadway and yamhill, turns around, cranks hard towards the steps and absolutely launches down the entire thing. so awesome. we were stoked. security was not. the bikers got out of there quick and the security stood no chance of catching them. |

That's got to be one of the coolest videos on YouTube. Some of those drops he does totally blow my mind.
