Default Newbie Introduction

Hi all,

Scott clued me into the forums, so I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi.

My name is Oliver, and I moved to Portland with my wife last year from San Diego, where I was an avid bike commuter. (we're in inner NE - Sullivan's Gulch)

A big part of moving up here was the bicycling, and we're loving it. But between working long hours from home, and the winter, I've gotten myself out of shape, and am back on team Clydesdale.

But I'm getting back in the saddle more. I got to join the easy riders on Sunday and had a blast, and am looking forward to joining a few more rides. Hopefully I'll be up for a glutton for pun-ishment ride fairly soon.

Default Welcome

Hi and welcome to the forums
I'm one of the self-appointed, lefty, rabble-rousers around here. You're undoubtedly more polite, better spoken, and possess better hygeine than I do. So I wanted to let you know so that you aren't embarrassed by some of my less coherent, more insensitive, or combative statements, I also post as Oliver.

Speak to you soon.
