After much deep thought I have decided I can forgive Sam if he will change the city "motto" from the city that works to "The "City That Bikes". Perhaps he could see how many city owned cars could be replaced with city owned bicycles to be used for city business. He could take one of the three NE Broadway lanes and designate it as bike only lanes. Take one lane of the Hawthorne bridge for bikes only. Tax breaks for attracting bike industry businesses, to include a developed industrial park for Bike industries down in the Guild lake area. What else do we need? Any other ideas? I'm sure I have only begun to scratch the surface. Come on Sam!!! Let's make PDX Bike City USA!!! BDX anyone? Bikeland, Oregon? Sam I can overlook your shortcomings if you can give us a hand with this.
