death threats
This guy will try and kill you just because you are on two wheels.
Stay away, don't provoke, he may be armed.

Reported to the police.
If anyone know where this van is / lives... let me know, I'd like to point the cops in the right direction.
This situation sound's very scary. I hope that the authorities are able to reign this guy in and help him out (of his vehicle... permanently).

Glad to hear you're OK.

Be Safe Out There!

hum, actually I think it was a Washington plate now that I think about it.

SE 13th and Main.
So i'm up on the sidewalk, stopped, the guy in the van is stopped, he says " you white trash motherf***** if you get back on the road i'm gonna kill you"

I was scared to the point where I could not speak.

he went on and on, got on his CB radio, followed me for a while as I rode on the sidewalk.

Be Careful... this guy is obviously a Washington hill billy that comes in and out of Portland along the Sandy Corridor.

Once you have the plate, the cops will have their registered address. I had a situation once reporting a vehicle with a couple of yahoos trying to shine a high power spotlight into other cars for laughs. On the phone with the 911 dispatch, they remarked that the plate matched the vehicle description (meaning they didn't suspect it was a stolen plate on the wrong car) and told me they were dispatching a car to their house to wait for them to come home.

Yep I reported it, when it happened. I did not hear anything back.

The thing is, I was ok, but I feel sorry that he is still out there and going to pick on another cyclist .
