not just bikes, but motorbikes too...
Car driver turns into a motorcyclist resulting in a compound fracture, we've seen this movie before, no charges against the motorist...

Motorcyclists are just one notch up from bicyclists .... they are slightly more tolerated because they can at least keep up with traffic. Beyond that its the same threats that bicyclists face every day.
If I'm on a bike or motorcycle I am in ultra-defensive mode all the time.
