Portland bicyclist flies through car window in collision

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- A bicyclist sustained life-threatening injuries when he struck the side of a turning car in southeast Portland.
KGW report on collision A Portland Police Bureau spokesman said Tuesday night that a Subaru driven by 24-year-old Stuart Brown was turning left into a restaurant parking lot when it was hit by a cyclist riding in a bike lane.
No citation was issued, but the investigation remains active.
Police identified the cyclist as 19-year-old Andrew Constantinescu.
He was taken to OHSU Hospital with life-threatening injuries. But according to police, doctors think he will survive.

Sounds to me that this is similar to the recent crash that killed the Bend man. For those of you are certain to be looking for it, no mention of helmet use was made. Looked like there was a helmet on the ground in the video though.
