Finally, after 5 years, I rode up and over Cornell Rd. from the westside into downtown.
The downhill after Skyline was most excellent! The uphill was quite reasonable even with traffic. I'm also glad I brought the Beaverton bike map along. It has a nice regional overview map showing me where I was once I hit Skyline. Looking forward to doing it again soon. |

Climbing the steep grades of Cornell on a bike is a fair accomplishment, probably more so on a bent. Three cheers! Maybe an extra kiss from your best gal too.
When I was putting on a lot of miles each week...long ago...I'd ride it periodically to escape boredom; it definitely wasn't my favorite route. Long and straight, descending Cornell's west side can be a real screamer if you dare. |

That was you I saw waiting at the SW Park Way/SW Cedar Hills intersection, mmm, Tuesday or Wed evening? Yellow recumbent trike?
(short term memory is the first to go) |
