Thom, there's a pretty nice tho convoluted route from the I-5 bridge east to the old evergreen hwy., which continues on into Camus. It's a nice ride on weekends -- quiet, fairly hammered pavement -- can't vouch for it during commute times but worth a look.

There's some waterfront path stuff, some nice river views, but be ready to get a little lost the first time... not good if you're in a hurry, but pleasant.
