Thanks for the route tip! I have considered going on surface streets opposed to the springwater to you know...spice up my commute to/from work :P

But really, between 39th and 52nd is awful on...

I third this! Putting your foot down every block gets a bit repetitive....I can easily have my wheels stop, check for traffic (and not one of those half a second stops either)/wait for the person...

Heh. I have never rode in those areas, but before I moved to Portland and gave up driving I use to drive mostly off of Hwy 99 West (Tigard, Tualatin, Sherwood, Etc..) and they are really bad there. ...

Yeah, it was. That was a tramuatic experience for me because the cat was on the opposite side of the path from me just laying down being cute, but then as i was approaching it freaked out and pysched...

Hello! I ride from SE Flavel up all the way to SE 17th ave. I'm usually on the path by 7:35, but now that it is starting to become good ole' oregon again I will aim to be on the path by 7:15-25.

I agree with huss, it will most likely be faster to bike downtown and then get onto the max.

It's a nice easy ride. Just bike up 72nd to Foster and ride Foster past where it turns into SE 52nd...
