That's good advice about checking places such as CCC for used bikes. So far I haven't found any used bikes or frames I like, but I'll keep looking.

Thanks for the pointer. I spoke with a Soma dealer (not Revolver) who did not recommend the frames. He said Soma's build quality is inconsistent and he's had to return several frames to the company....
