on a rare day that I rode the bus instead of my bike...

I was waiting at the east bound 1st and Madison bus stop, it was raining... I was sick.. but anyways. There was a guy riding a fixie about to board the bridge, and he was going at a pretty good clip....

I agree here, I get the reactions ranging from " thank you" to downright
" horror and suprise" when they didn't expect anyone and especially when they're wearing thier i-Plod and are almost drowned...

Leonard Zinn had a good book out on road bike maintenance. I have the one for mt bikes and it's awesome. Very laymens terms... and nice illustrations. He covers pretty much everything. Check it out...
