I actually enjoy not having the music or news or people talking at me when I'm riding. It's the only peace and quiet I get all day - as well as the feeling that I need to be listening to the traffic....

I second the Dickies and wool pants suggestions. Ben Davis are swell as well. The polyester factor keeps them together and they dry off much faster than cotton. Dark colors rarely show road dirt....
