Rock Creek Trail / Evergreen Pkwy crossing improvements
 

Construction has been completed on the Everygreen Parkway crossing for the Rock Creek Trail. The crossing is now controlled by a new traffic signal on Evergreen Parkway, there is a cut-through in the median for path users, and both sides have three curb cuts - 1 for cyclists exiting the bike lane onto the path, 1 for cyclists entering the bike lane from the path, and 1 for peds/cyclists crossing Evergreen.

Been meaning to take a picture, but it is always dark when I ride through therre this time of year.

wow, that looked like a dangerous crossing... not even a crosswalk there... glad they put something in...

There was not a curb cut in the past so it was a real PITA the cross there, specially on a recumbent. it required a backtrack to the nearby business and crossing at your own risk. This is a very welcome improvement!
