Buffered Comes to Barbur...
 

As many of us ride this already know, Barbur Blvd is getting repaved right now. I saw evidence of the bike lanes being repainted too, and a marking that seemed to indicate a buffer strip being included.

I called the Maintenance Hotline, and was able to speak with the people who are in charge of striping, and was able to confirm that the newly repaved section will include a buffered bike lane.

Can't wait to try it out once it's finished.

That's great news. I spend a lot of time on Barbur.
