Help the Velodrome!!!!!!

hey everyone!!
please take a moment to support senate bill 926 in regards to the velodromes in medford and portland. all you have to do is click on the link and send a message. Lets show the legislators that more than two people want the state to pay for world class velodromes. i just did it and it took 30 seconds.

I wrote to my Representative on the 9th of March and received a reply today. It says, in part:

...."That bill was just assigned to the Environment
and Natural Resources Committee on the 14th, with a subsequent referral
to Ways and Means, since it requires spending money. I would advise you
to email the chair of the committee to make sure that the bill gets
scheduled for a hearing. The Chair is Sen. Brad Avakian."....

I have followed up with an email to Senator Avakian asking that the Bill be scheduled. Please take a minute to help this bill along through the Legislature.

I don't track race, but I've sent him an email as well. For those of you who do, and would like something newer than Alpenrose, good luck - I hope the bill is able to move forward.
