Greetings - The Institute of Transportation Engineers will be having their western states meeting in Portland in July and I am looking for a place where I can rent some decent bikes to lead some rides around our bike friendly city. Anyone know where we can rent some hybrid type bikes - probably would need as many as 20? Any thoughts or input would be appreciated.
Ride safe everyone!!

Dirt U M -- Waterfront bike rentals i would guess has the biggest fleet - I've gotten them to provide 15+ bikes for similar purposes. Also check with CityBikes, as they too have rental bikes, tho i doubt in that quantity.

here's the bike rental places that i know of in PDX:

Wherever you go for rentals, be sure to arrange for them far in advance. Shops with smaller fleets (like Citybikes, which has only 5 bikes and a trailer in its rental fleet) will usually have them all out on hire through most of the summer. They may charge money up front to hold a bike for a given weekend, but it's worth it.
