Nailed in NE 35th and Broadway

I got nailed around 35th and Broadway Tuesday 11/7 around 4 pm. It was not raining and still daylight. I was dressed in a white top.

I was in the bikelane heading towards downtown ( I live in NW). A black Ford Explorer passed me and then made a right turn in front of me. I was able to sort of turn right with the driver but still ended up on the ground bruised and sore.

I wasn't drastically hurt, I was pissed so I just rode home after lecturing the kid (18 or 19?) about the responsibility he has as a driver.

ugh. i'm glad you're alright. is your bike okay?
at least the kid stopped. way too many people just take off.
not sure if you saw the thread i put up earlier today about how the same sort of scenario happened to me on broadway yesterday. close to the same time as well.

Glad you're OK . . . And hopefully the incident will make the kid more careful in the future...
