I don't want to know how many times I've changed a tire, only to realize that I've got the direction wrong, or hunted all over the sidewalls looking for the recommended PSI...

So, this time, I went ahead and used a silver Sharpie pen to mark the sidewalls before installing the tire on the bike.

I've also used Sharpies to make the serial number of the bike visible for my records.

The Serial Number of my old bike (destroyed on 2011/5/4)
and I regularly carry one on my bike for phone numbers and license plates.
