Pedaling in the Park is a new special event offered by the City of Tualatin. The event begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, May 23 at the Tualatin Commons with a kids' bicycle safety "rodeo" in partnership with the Washington County Bicycle Transportation Coalition. Bikes will get a quick safety check, and then the kids are off to practice starting, stopping, turning, and learning some rules of the road. There will also be ample opportunity for some wacky bike games including a "Slow Race", the "Chaos Box", and maybe even a bicycle limbo contest!

FREE Helmet giveaway to the first 75 kids!!!!* (*based on helmet sizes & availability)

There will be music on the Commons, hot food for sale, and electric power boats on the lake.

After the bike rodeo, families can join together at 10:45 am for a fun ride from Tualatin Commons through Tualatin Community Park, over the Tualatin River and back. This is an all-ages fun ride (not a race) and a great way to enjoy Tualatin's parks! Best of all, Pedaling in the Park is FREE!
