ok, that got my interest...

here's the proposal... (http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/departments/CDD/Planning/DevelopmentProjects/Notice/DR2010-0035.pdf)

The applicant, TriMet, is seeking a Design Review approval to construct a covered and enclosed secure parking area (SPA) for bicycles at Beaverton Transit Center. The 30 by 60 SPA would provide secure bicycle parking for transit users. The location of the proposed bike SPA is directly south of the light rail tracks along Lombard Avenue. The property is located at 4050 SW Lombard Avenue.

and the vicinity map (http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/departments/CDD/Planning/DevelopmentProjects/VicinityMap/DR2010-0035DETAIL.pdf) only shows it'll be in the transit center area...

my bike recently got a little mud bath but a massage would be nice...

On the main page a while back, Maus referenced the secure bike enclosure scheduled for Beaverton, so I pretty much knew what the sign had to do with. Still, I'll admit the way the sign read was a bit funny, and consistent with that, couldn't keep from springing to mind, the idea of the girls from Stars coming over for some...you know...'promotion and customer service'. ;)

I hope they would have a spot or two for recumbent trikes.

Great idea and it will be welcomed into the neighborhood.

bummer, i thought a bike spa was where you could jump in a hot tub with your bike, then get a massage on your bike, then maybe sit in a sauna and pedal on a trainer.

maybe the hot tub has some degreaser in the water for easy drivetrain cleaning...

...and ride there on your bike gym. :)
