View Full Version : Local source for fender nuts?
Does anyone know of a local shop that carries hardware that simplifies the mounting of fenders - basically, like these Sheldon Fender Nuts:

You can get all the hex head stainless steel nuts and washers from Home Depot or Lowes.
If you look closely at the photo of Sheldon Fender Nut, it is copyrighted QBP, which is Quality Bicycle Products one of the biggest distributors in the bike business. Pretty much every bike shop orders from them. Pick a shop and ask if they can order you a part from QBP. They should be happy to do it for you.
Thanks for the reply, canuck. I picked up a set today at River City Bicycles.

Actually, I find the stainless metric hardware selection at Home Depot and Lowe's to be pretty limited. When I go to Parkrose Hardware, I'm in nut & bolt heaven. I bet Winks is pretty good, too.
