The other week, I had a blow out, and the tire was completly ruined. I didn't hit anything, and it didn't look like a cut. Whatever the reason, it was beyond booting.
Despite that, it did have two things going for it, a band of reflective material on each sidewall. The tire was ruined, so I started picking at the obvious seam, and much to my surprise it peeled off. So, now I have two strips of fabric backed retro reflective material. I did the only thing I could think of, I glued it to my coat.
I still have quite a bit left over, but I'm looking for more (it'd be great for my winter riding clothes).
