I'm now seeking info on Cycling Shoes... I'm leaning towards REI's Men's Keen Commuter Bike Sandals.

I've got wide feet, and most of the cycling shoes I've tried on are narrow, and I don't have a lot of time to waste on waiting for shoes to ship, try them on, buy, or reject.
Anybody got ideas on these (or any other kind of) shoes/sandals?

I'm the same way when it comes to shoes - it takes me forever to find ones that fit, even when I'm able to try them on. So I stay away from mail order purchases of footwear.
Those look like some nice sandals. I have two pairs of mountain SPD shoes - one pair for serious/long rides and one pair that's for running errands and walking around in.
My "serious" ones are last year's version of this model, the Specialized Comp:

and my walkable ones are the Specialized Taho's:

These are comfortable enough to wear all day if needed, although the cleat does "crunch" a bit when I'm walking on pavement or concrete. However I can feel a hot spot start to develop with these shoes if I try to wear them on rides with significant climbing due to their added flex.
I have wide feet and was impressed with how well Specialized shoes have fit me. I know Bike Gallery has both of these shoes at most of their locations if you'd like to try them on.

I'd make sure you try those Keens on first - they don't fit exactly like regular Keens.
That said, I love my Keens.
