Oh I guess they are just "Joes". Anyway I bought a pair of bicycle tires for $8!!!

Brand new Kenda tires. Not the top brand, but unbelievable price. This was at the Lake Oswego store off Boones Ferry and I was in and out pretty fast.

In East Vancouver, it's rather sad to see G.I. Joe's go, as they're really our only major bike shop (that's open for more than two hours a day, at least—sorry Mr. Schroeder) on this entire side of town. With Bad Boyz on 192nd without a storefront, and the excellent Battle Ground Bicycle (http://www.battlegroundbicycle.com/) closed, we've really been hit hard up and down the entire east side.

There is one if you can get to downtown, I know it's not the East side. It's the old Arenada Cafe joint, it think it's called Bad Monkey's Bike Board and Skate

Cool little place, I've been there. Well worth the trip from the East Side.

What happened to Bad Boyz?

The strip mall his shop was in raised the rent too high. But Bad Boyz Bikes is still in business, operating out of his garage which he's converted to a nice LBS. It's 1.1 miles north of the old location, easy to get to by bike: 19002 S.E. 15th St. That's just northwest of 190th & 15th, enter from 15th. Discount to VBC members, or so VBC website (http://vbc-usa.com/join.html) says.
