Thanks to whoever originally mentioned http://www.identi-tape.com/eng-sr1.html. Note: applies easily, but sets up quickly and is hard to remove.

Rims have reflective bits (also reflective tape), not so visible viewed directly side-on, but visible off-angle. Armadillo sidewalls are road-grime gray.

Headlight: Exposure Enduro Maxx (http://www.exposurelights.com/products/enduro_maxx_2_-_2009/index.php) with handlebar remote switch (3 levels plus blink).

Taillights: PB Supers (2) on bike and helmet.

Sure looks cool!! Whatever works to make your bicycle more visible. I was looking into reflective tape, but have decided not to use it.

I have a bunch of reflectors I got from two automotive parts store. They are brighter than my three blinkies!

I plan on adding pedal lights, spoke lights, blinkie vest, and more ....

Thanks for the shout-out. I'd be conflicted about using the tape on a newer (or more attractive) bike just 'cuz it's, well, so sticky. I've had the Trek for 25 years, though, and its only obligation is to get me to and from work. Aesthetics be damned.

Wouldn't want to puke on the Pug (http://www.bikeportland.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2806), though.
