Today was a great morning for Breakfast on the Bridges (BonB)
I picked up some pastries and doughnuts and headed out to the Hawthorne Bridge to support the cyclists of Portland. Since I was early, I just offered the doughnuts that Voodoo generously provided. The first couple of folks (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168656379/) who stopped were a fun pair. One was on a nice upright bike, and his friend was on a fancy carbon fiber recumbent trike. I didn't have too much time for pictures, since I was the first one on the scene. Dat came by shortly after me with coffee, and some sad coffee tales. We got the coffee stocked and loaded and before the cups even arrived, one desperate commuter (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168656381/) showed his determination to enjoy the brew. Of course there's no wrong way to enjoy BonB. Just ride down the bridge and enjoy. Eventually we had Ken ride by with water, cups, and all the paraphanalia for a great time (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168656383/). We also had Jeff (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168656380/) show up with his wonderful enthusiasm. While Jeff isn't the first amputee (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168659883/) I've seen on a bike, he's definately an impressive guy who brings a lot of great energy (http://www.flickr.com/photos/60961560@N00/168656382/) to BonB. Jeff I hope you'll join us at some other Pedalpalooza gatherings. I hope the rest of the morning was as good for you as it was for me.
