I have several of your Superflash taillights, and I use your fenders...

I think it would be AWESOME if you had some way of providing a mount for the superflash ON the fenders that was built just for them... Mounted on my seat post, cargo on my rear rack sometimes blocks it http://bikeportland.org/forum/images/icons/icon9.gif

Possible sales point with the fenders...
Include the mount with the fenders as an incentive to encourage people to buy a taillight, or perhaps bundle them.

I'd also love to see a mount that pivots and is designed to attach to the underside of a rack (via nuts and bolts) that would keep my superflash with the brightest LED up. Looking from the side, it'd resemble the number 7, and the hinge would be at the point where the two lines meet... I'll take two please. I know several others that would benefit from this kind of mount too.

Those trunks can get in the way.

I've got one under my rack (modified a non superflash mount with a drill, to go through the reflector eyelet, and another strapped to the left rack upright. I don't have a ton of rear vis from the right (just the center mounted 7 dim led walmart light), but cars are not often coming from that direction.

I bet you could drill a clothing clip and use a small nut and bolt to hold it on for a diy version.

I've seen it,

But due to the design of my rack, I doubt that it would work well. I'm not afraid of doing a little drilling, but I'd like something that I can attach and have it look like it was ment for the rack.

NR's Universal tailight has a mounting option similar to what I'd like to see from PB. I'll see if I can get a pic tonight, as I'm riding Mk VII today.

Encouraging... but not what I was hoping for. What I wanted to read was something like:

"We liked the idea so much that we had our people in R & D whip a few up in the prototyping machines, and a couple of them are on the way to you now for your feedback."

Sigh... Lord, grant me patience (I want it NOW!) ;)

I have a Superflash mounted on my left rear rack support; I angled it so the light is vertical. I used the seat stay mounting bracket, and just wrapped some inner tube around the rack support. The only time it's a problem is on my tandem when we have 2 panniers on, then I move it to my seat bag. I've never used one on my seat post for the same reason you describe.
