This morning while turning left onto 5th from Oak, after crossing the new rail tracks, my wheels slid out when I crossed onto the concrete.
I slid right under the rear bumper of a large SUV reversing! down 5th Avenue at the side of the street.
I was able to alert the driver by slapping the rear drivers side door, who stopped in time, thankfully.
And yes, it seems simple enough, but watch out, that concrete is apparently more slick than the tracks are. Also watch out for manhole covers.
