Obscure parts sources?

As in I'm looking for hard to find parts, not hard to find parts suppliers. Basically I've a bad habit of buying and/or working on bicycles and motorcycles that sometimes need hard to replace bits. Currently I'm looking for parts for an old Katakura Silk Porta-Cycle folder. Any suggestions? Google and eBay have, so far, been a bust.
