Forecast for this Sunday is mostly sunny, 10% rain, 67 deg F.

Ride Levels: Easy, Intermediate
Easy Riders loop - 14 miles
Intermediate loop - 42 miles

There will be an Easy Loop as well as an Intermediate Ride. Both rides depart from Madison

Plaza.
Cyclists may join or leave the ride at any point along the path.

Ride accompanied by bike mechanics. Our club Code of Conduct asks each member to do their

best to assist other participants in need during ride events.

Sequence of Group Ride Events on Sunday April 30th, ALL TIMES ARE
ESTIMATES:

1:00 PM
Pre-ride free safety-check & mini-tune at Eastbank Esplanade Madison Street Parking Lot. UBI

certified mechanic(s) will be available with tools & bike stand.

2:00 PM
Both Easy and Intermediate Ride Groups assemble at Eastbank Esplanade Madison Street Parking

Lot.

Intermediate group departs
Travel south on the esplanade
Turn left after OMSI onto Caruthers
Turn right on 4th ave and continue to Springwater-Oaks Bottom trail.
Continue under the Sellwood Bridge
Turn left on Umatilla
Turn left on 21st
Turn right on Tacoma and cross 99E. Immediately after crossing the highway merge left and

turn on Tacoma Street
Turn right on Berkeley and continue to Springwater Corridor all the way to Gresham.
After passing the Gresham park, turn left on Park Dr and cross Roberts Dr to continue on SE

5th St.
Turn left on SE Hogan Ave (SE Hogan becomes NE HOgan Dr) Turn right onto NE 23rd.
Turn left on Kane Drive which becomes SW 257th ave Turn right onto SW Hensley toward SW 28th.
Follow the road through a left turn on SW Hensley Rd.
Right turn on SW Cherry Park Road
Turn left onto Buxton Road
Turn right onto SE 8th Street
Turn left onto SE Dora Street.
Turn right on Columbia River Hwy.
Cross the bridge and turn right to continue on Columbia River Hwy.
Continue around the bend Turn right on SE Stark Street. Cross the bridge and continue uphill

Turn left on SE Kerslake Rd.
Turn right on SE SWeetbriar Rd (after Troutdale Rd it becomes SE Cochran Rd) Turn left on NE

Kane Dr.
Turn Right on NE Division St then turn left on Hogan Rd Turn right on SE 5th.
Cross Roberts and continue on Park Dr.
Return to the Springwater Corridor and ride west and follow the departure route back to

Madison Plza. There is an optional Barbeque in Woodstock for those who are interested.

Turn right on Flavel and continue to the end Turn right on 52nd ave Turn left on SE Bybee

Turn right on SE 50th Turn left on Glenwood and enter 'tunnel' driveway in the middle of the

block. 4921 SE Glenwood

Easy Riders route 14 miles

Ride north on the esplanade to the Steel bridge. Then climb up the ramp to Interstate. Take

MAX to the Gresham stop.
Travel south on Main St
Continue across Powell through the park and lot.
Turn left onto the Springwater Corridor
Turn left on Park Dr
Cross Roberts Dr and continue on SE 5th St.
Turn left on SE Hogan Ave (SE Hogan becomes NE HOgan Dr) Turn right onto NE 23rd.

ALL TIMES ARE ESTIMATES.

This is a good chance to test out your bicycle, safety equipment, ride clothing, and tool

kits.

We recommend bringing the following gear:

Helmet
Wireless Phone
Gloves
Hooded jacket or head covering
Rain gear if necessary
Riding glasses
Tool pouch/multi-tool
Frame Pump or CO2 Inflator/Cartridges
Spare tubes/Patches
Water bottles or Hydration pack
Light Snack
Bike: (Preferrably with fenders in case of rain)

Both rides will be led by United Bicycle Institute certified mechanics; no rider left behind.

All riders will need to sign a Liability Release Agreement before departure. Under 18 riders

please be accompanied by an adult.

This ride is sponsored by the Community Exchange Cycle Touring Club, a global non-profit

organization with the goal of connecting diverse world communities through reciprocated

exchange bicycle tours.
