As things get busy & crazy leading up to the holidays, Q-LAND/MenSpirit, a non-profit menís wellness network, invites you & your friends to take time to really care for yourself through our Wanderlust Men's Cycling Event and our other activities designed to heal your mind, body, & spirit:


12/17 WANDERLUST: Menís Cycling RideAbout; Mon, 6:30 pm We gather outside Wild Oats at NE 15th & Fremont to wander the city on bikes, having fun connecting with the city and ourselves in whole new ways with no set agenda. Facilitated by Jonathan Carpenter.


12/11 MENíS MEDITATION GROUP, Tues, 7:30-9:30 pm; great for stress relief & increasing your ability to be calm & focused; simple, silent seated meditation; walking meditation; short inspirational reading, tea, cookies, & discussion. Co-Facilitators: Rob Downer, M.Div, & Jeff Kerr.

12/12 & 10/19 MENíS THERAPEUTIC YOGA, Wed, 6:30-8:30 pm; learn to use yoga to address your specific wellness challenges (back/neck pain, insomnia, depression, HIV) or goals (losing weight; managing stress & related pain; increasing calm & focus). Instructor Bart Church has studied for 20 years & taught for 13 years.

12/13 & 12/20 MENíS KUNDALINI YOGA, Thurs, 6:30-8:00 pm; charge up your energy for the cold, dark winter; accessible stretches, breath work, devotional meditation, music, & mantra to increase energy, focus, centeredness, & spiritual connection; Instructor Jeff Bader has studied for 13 years & taught for 7 years.

12/17 CORE STRENGTH YOGA; Mon, 6:30-7:45 PM; learn powerful, simple stretches to develop your strength & flexibility at your core; develop your spinal and abdominal muscles & energy. Taught by Charles Airey, who has studied for 20 years.
