Most people assume they know the law... I'm sure you can spell ASSume.

The BTA has a *FREE* Bikes and the Law Clinic every other month (typically on a Wed). This is often led by Ray Thomas... Bike Attorney, and Author of "Pedal Power".

It is open to the public (for those of you who are not a member of the BTA yet). A free copy of Pedal Power (value $10) is provided. (you can also read it on Ray's website: http://www.stc-law.com in PDF form).

Did you Know:

You can bike on I5? I84? Hwy 217?

You can track down jerk drivers w/only a licence plate, and the right phone calls.

W/o using the cops, YOU! (yes YOU!) can PROSECUTE a driver.

etc.

Lots of stuff here... and of course it's *FREE*. To get the latest info you can surf to: www.bta4bikes.org.
