There's an ad for Fabreeze w/a woman doing reverse donuts in a cul de sac. When they show her, she's got her nose pressed into the headrest behind her...
Doesn't that seem to be the way drivers are acting lately?
A little background info: I was struck by a car while I was going home (in Beaverton) on friday 10/12. It was dark (about 7pm), but I had two NR MiNewt X2's (one flashing, one on low) and a NR TriNewt (on Low) on. I was going straight, and the guy does an oncoming left turn right into me...
His excuse... "I wasn't looking in that direction... I didn't see him, until he was on my hood"
He was cited, but despite a large police presence, no one saw fit to give me a copy of his insurance info, nor do I have a list of witnesses (apparently that wasn't recorded by the responding officer).
No bones were broken, but I have some serious bruises, and I can barely walk.
My bike now has a new front wheel and forks, but I don't know what else (if anything) is still wrong with it.
