St. Johns Bridge

Is the St. Johns Bridge open to cyclists? I want to go to Vancouver and that's the nearest bridge to cross. Thanks

AFAIK the bridge itself is open, but the approaches on the west end are a little rough as far as having to share the road w/ traffic.

I just got word from the state, and you're right. The bridge is cross-able on both the road and the sidewalk. Being deathly afraid of heights, I guess I'm going to make new "friends" on the road.

The I-5 bridge does have the crossing paths right out on the sides... The southbound side (west side) is a little wider than the northbound side, you might want to use that one if heights are a concern. Plenty of people go the wrong way, so you'd blend right in!
