NW to SE

hello all

i have easily made it form Se division area to Nw pearl district area. I however have no good route back.

i would like to take hawthorne back, but i have no clue how to get there. If i ride down front will there be a way to hit hawthorne bridge?

anyway advice PLEASE!!

I usually catch the Hawthorne Bridge off of Madison, there is a lane that goes directly onto it. But once you are across the bridge head a few blocks north to Salmon. It is a low traffic street made for bike transit. It will be a less hectic ride than dealing with Hawthorne if your going further than 11th or so.

Even better than Salmon is Harrison, I think - still low-traffic and a "bike boulevard," but you wouldn't have to cross over Hawthorne again to get to Division.
