INFO REQUEST-Cyclist vs Car this AM involving Lifeflight

I caught a brief "Breaking News" story this AM on KPTV about a cyclist who was struck by a car on NE Cornell and 232nd in Hillsboro....I'd like to get any more info regarding the condition of the rider.

Oregonlive has some info about a man hitting a road sign. It doesn't say anything about a car hitting him.

Apparently, no car was involved. Acccording to today's The Oregonian, 51-year-old Steven Dowis was Life Flighted to OHSU in critical condition with a head injury after striking a construction sign at the side of the road and falling to the pavement. He was wearing a helmet.
