In addition to the Portland Bicycle Fashion Show there will be other featured events such a Pump Jam with Free Ride sensation Andrew Taylor, Ryan Leech will exhibit focus and concentration as he demonstrates amazing trials riding stunts and a Bicycle Safety Rodeo for the kids and lots of stellar deals on clothing, components and more. There is something for the whole family to enjoy at the PDX Bicycle Show. </p>
<p>Models will need to be available Friday, March 23rd for fittings and dress rehearsal. The fashion show will take place on Saturday, March 24th at 3pm and Sunday, March 25th at 3pm. </p>
<p>SEEKING- Male and Female Cyclist who aren’t afraid to interact with a crowd and show off the latest styles for commuting cyclist, racing cyclist and every day bike riding. </p>

<p>General Description: </p>
<p>As part of the Yakima design team this position will be responsible for comprehensive design, testing, cost improvement, value engineering, analysis, and documentation of new products and/or redesign of current products, or manage reverse engineering programs using criteria established by the Category Business Manager. In addition the position will create or lead in developing the Product Specification in conjunction with the CBM and Advanced Development Team and will partner with the Advanced Development Team, Offshore Design Teams, Category Business Managers, Test Engineers and other groups to ensure design feasibility, attainment of profit objectives, and product creation timelines. Other key aspects of this position contribute to achieving and sustaining the Yakima Strategic Business Plan and Initiatives, global competitive advantage, and profitable market growth strategy</p>
<p>Scope &#038; Responsibilities:</p>
<p>•Lead and design new products or redesign existing product to the criteria set forth by the Category Business Manager and Advanced Development Team delivering completed solutions on-time and within budget.<br />
•Manage offshore design resources and reverse engineering programs.<br />
•Collaborate with the Industrial Designers to determine the proper form and style of the product.<br />
•Produce product requirements that are fully and correctly defined, documented, developed, tested, delivered on schedule and within budget.</p>
<p><strong>How to Apply</strong><br />
Qualifications:</p>
<p>•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Design/Mechanical Engineering or related field.<br />
•Eight (8) years of related engineering/design work experience required.<br />
•Proficiency in the use of SolidWorks and/or ProEngineer CAD software including surface modeling required.<br />
•Experience using FEA software packages.<br />
•Experience designing products for European markets desired.<br />
•Advanced understanding of manufacturing processes, test methods and basic machine shop practices, including but not limited to injection molding, vacuum forming, metal fabrication, die casting and extrusions.<br />
•Ability to professionally manage multiple, simultaneous projects and deadlines.<br />
•Lean manufacturing experience, experience with off-shore manufacturers, mechanism design, and knowledge of outdoor products or equipment preferred.<br />
•Experienced using design tools such as QFD, FMEA and GD&#038;T.<br />
•Written and Oral Skills: English mandatory. Bilingual fluency in Mandarin Chinese desirable.<br />
•Advanced level with P.C.’s: Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook; PowerPoint.<br />
•Five (5) years experience in completing and managing projects with minimal oversight and against aggressive timelines.<br />
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<br />
•Knowledge of the outdoor sports hard goods and/or automotive industries a plus.<br />
•U.S. citizen or must possess valid INS Green Card.<br />
•Must possess a valid/current U.S. passport and ability to travel internationally without restrictions.<br />
•Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license with no major violations within the last five (5) years.</p>
<p>Physical Requirements:</p>
<p>•Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.<br />
•Able to perform general office and administrative duties: copying, filing, using a telephone, etc.<br />

<p>General Position Summary<br />
The Development Coordinator will work closely with the Development Manager to inspire support from individuals, groups, businesses, and funders to ensure the long-term health of the Community Cycling Center. The successful candidate will be a resourceful problem-solver, with a love for analysis and technical reporting. The Development Coordinator will be based in our office. </p>
<p>Responsibilities<br />
Database and donor management – 75%<br />
•	Optimize and manage our donor database, using the Salesforce platform, to ensure that we are communicating effectively with our donor base, including individuals, organizations, and grantmakers.<br />
•	Serve as liaison to Salesforce Help Desk/customer support/third-party database contractor.<br />
•	Actively learn and improve upon Salesforce database and proactively seek solutions to database recording and reporting challenges.<br />
•	Enter donations into database, produce thank you letters within two working days of receiving gift<br />
•	Generate donor tracking/reports monthly, or as needed<br />
•	Follow policies and procedures to track, reconcile, and report on donations to ensure best practices and ability to plan effectively</p>
<p>Events and promotions – 10%<br />
•	Manage 2-3 donor events per year<br />
•	Request in-kind donations for events and promotions</p>
<p>Other – 15%<br />
•	Develop and maintain hard files as necessary<br />
•	Track grant application and reporting deadlines<br />
•	Manage large donor mailings, working with printer and USPS<br />
•	Prepare mailing lists<br />
•	Other fundraising-related duties, as assigned</p>
<p>Required Skills &#038; Qualifications<br />
•	2+ years experience in nonprofit development or database management<br />
•	Ability to curiously seek out technical solutions<br />

• Communicate with retailers, sales reps, team accounts and consumers via phone and email<br />
• Process returns from customers<br />
• Complete tasks and projects within scope of responsibility to support sales, customer service manager, and team sales<br />
• Data entry and administrative duties supporting US accounts</p>

We are seeking a Shipping and Logistics manager to oversee shipping and inventory management operations in our main warehouse located near PDX. This individual will manage a team of approximately ten individuals in a fast-paced dynamic environment. In addition to day-to-day management of shipping and inventory control operations, this individual will work with the management team to improve the efficiency and accuracy of operations using IT technology, warehouse organization, and resource allocation.</p>

<p>Candidate requirements:<br />
- Shipping and/or warehouse management experience<br />
- Personnel management experience including hiring and firing<br />
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software<br />
- Experience with UPS Worldship and Warehouse Management Systems desired<br />
- Ability to work in a team environment, sharing responsibility<br />
- Comfortable communicating with customers and employees via email, phone, or in person<br />
- Detailed bicycle product knowledge strongly desired<br />
- Be comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and working on ladders<br />
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.<br />
- Warehouse environment is cool in winters and warm in summers.</p>

The Vanilla Workshop houses three brands: Vanilla Bicycle Co., which specializes in one of a kind custom bicycles; Speedvagen, our limited production race bike brand; and Coat Paint Shop, painting and powder coating for Vanilla and Speedvagen as well as other independent framebuilders. </p>
<p>-We are hiring for a Front End Manager position-</p>
<p>The person we hire for this position will be responsible for both creative and administrative tasks, including:</p>
<p>-Coordinating schedules for multiple arms of the business<br />
-Advanced graphic design<br />
-Writing and publishing<br />
-Photography<br />
-Friendly customer service, both remote and in person<br />
-Inventorying and ordering.</p>
<p>We’re looking for someone that likes challenges, is good-natured and is also comfortable being assertive; someone who knows when a project has not yet reached its full potential and someone who, despite having finely tuned skills, isn’t above chipping in to help with the dirty work. </p>
<p>This job will pay a professional wage. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off and profit sharing.</p>
