Portland, OR – May 14, 2016 – For immediate release
In another sign of growth, Portland-based bicycle parts distributor Cyclone Bicycle Supply has hired a national sales director. Check out the details in the press release below:

Cyclone Bicycle has hired Mark Mollenkopf as national sales director. Mollenkopf will help direct sales team expansion for the company.

Mollenkopf comes to Cyclone with nearly 10 years of experience in the cycling industry. He also has sales experience in the golf industry.

“As Cyclone expands into larger markets, it presents an exciting opportunity for me to focus on building relationships with loyal, long-time customers as well as new dealers,“ said Mollenkopf. “I’ll be supporting the sales team by providing a stronger focus and structured approach as we expand our presence, particularly in California and on the East Coast.”

Cyclone has grown dynamically recently, with the recent acquisition of Action Bicycle USA in Q4 2015. “This growth, coupled with signing several new brands and the restructuring and expansion of our Portland headquarters, underscored the need to bring in a proven leader to direct the sales team,” said Tyler Robertson, Marketing Director at Cyclone. “We’re at a pivotal junction in our business development and we’re excited to have Mark join us.”

Prior to joining Cyclone, Mollenkopf served as national sales director and digital marketing manager at Portland Design Works. He also worked as an inside sales manager, and later promoted to product manager at Serfas.

An avid cyclist committed to supporting cycling as a transportation modality as well as recreation, Mollenkopf commutes to work and totes his kids to school via long tail cargo bike.

Cyclone Bicycle Supply is a Portland, OR based parts and accessories distributor.
