The Mobile Cycle Club Manager, North America is responsible for overseeing Rapha’s Mobile Cycle Club program. The Mobile Cycle Club is a traveling version of Rapha Cycle Clubs, a destination to celebrate the sport of road racing, bring cycling fans together, and showcase the Rapha collections. The role includes schedule development, budget management, vehicle procurement/maintenance, and driving the vehicle to predetermined events. This position is based in Portland, Or and will be based in the office for 6 months, and will be on the road for 6 months.
The Mobile Cycle Club Manger will be a very visible representative of the brand to consumers, industry partners, and the press. A positive force for the brand, this person will play a critical role within the North American office. This role will report into the Marketing Manager for North America.
The Role
• Develop the annual schedule for the Mobile Cycle Club
• Procure and refurbish the Cycle Club vehicle(s)
• Oversee ongoing maintenance of the vehicle(s)
• Coordinate schedule with local dealers, brand ambassadors, Cycle Club managers and other VIPs
• Deliver positive brand/consumer experience while on the road
• Manage and maintain budget

• An ability to operate effectively at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders
• Highly organized
• Not afraid of managing a budget
• Resourceful, but knows when to ask for help
• Can manage multiple balls in the air without breaking a sweat
• Can be the face of the Rapha brand, projecting the values of the brand in all interactions
• Over-delivers, finding ways to create special moments that can be “only Rapha”
• Travel up to 6 mos of the year
• Loves and appreciate the sport of road racing/cycling
• Comfortable leading group rides, well versed in bike mechanics and safety
• Has experience “on the road” and is comfortable driving oversized vehicles across the country
