Notice of Trail Closure along the Springwater Trail
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28th, 2013, Portland General Electric will begin work along the Springwater Trail between SW Pleasant Valley View Dr. and SE Circle Ave. to improve service reliability in the area. This activity is expected to continue for eight days (excluding Saturday and Sunday), ending at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6th.
The trail will also be closed between SE 174th Ave. and SE 158th Ave. during the week of October 28th. Signs will be posted at the work zone a week prior to the construction start date of October 28th. The trail closure is necessary in order to enable PGE crews to replace rotten wood poles and other associated equipment along these sections of the Trail. A detour route is planned as shown in the attached traffic control plan.We appreciate your understanding while this work is being done and encourage you to inform PGE with any concerns during the improvement process.
