For the second year in a row, the Portland Mercury’s annual Holiday Auction (and its saucy photo spread) entices would-be donors with several bike-filled gift packages. If you want to help a great local non-profit (Outside In) and show your true biking spirit, get over to their site and bid on one of them.

This year there are three bike-alicious packages to choose from:

  • Bike With The Mayor – Includes a ride and lunch with me and Mayor Sam Adams with a Patagonia messenger bag thrown in for good measure.
  • Mountain Bike Mania – Includes a guided trip along the epic Ape Canyon trail on Mt. St. Helens, a picnic lunch, and a bag of swag from Sellwood Cycle Repair.
  • I Like Bike! – The Merc. describes this one as “This is what a bike-nerd orgasm looks like.” Need I say more?

Bidding closes tomorrow (Friday) at 5:00pm! More info on these and lots of other cool items on PortlandMercury.com.

The bidding closes at 5:00 pm tomorrow!

NOTE: At BikePortland, we love your comments. We love them so much that we devote many hours every week to read them and make sure they are productive, inclusive, and supportive (heck, sometimes we even fix your typos!). That doesn't mean you can't disagree with someone. It means you must do it with tact and respect. This is our business and we do not tolerate mean commenters who add nothing of value to the discussion.

Unfortunately, we are not robots and we don't always catch everything. You can help by notifying us if you see inappropriate comments. Thanks! — Jonathan and Michael
