Organizers, please do not forget to share that for the prior 75 years the neighborhood was predominately African American and probably still would be if the Portland development Commission honored diversity and provided that community with the support and funds to re-develop their own hood. I am saddened when any cultural component of a community is displaced from 'Urban Renewal/Gentfication',,, typically benefiting the Caucasion majority.

Lets also not forget that the neighborhood is way more diverse now than it has been in the last 75 years... Also prior to the Vanport flood it was a German/Russian neighborhood. Meh but what is race slanted history revision good for anyhow..
