I saw one on a Subaru a couple of days ago on Hawthorne. Perhaps the same Subaru as in the photo above!

Yes, bicyclists are noticing cars. Now if only we can get cars to notice bicyclists. Isn't that what this plate is all about?

There's one on a ZipCar here on Millikan in Beaverton. This version looks nice!
Yeah, some of us have a car or two (or three), but we're all cyclists and hope more car drivers see us and don't hit us. Having a state-approved way to help achieve that end is something to be psyched about for sure!
(My perception is that the public takes the message more seriously from a license plate than a "special interest" bumper sticker).

The yellow OBRA truck got it's plate almost a month ago. I got mine for the Mini this week. I am DEPH. Does that mean that I am not as shallow as I thought?

ZOMG cars are evil, shouldnt have a new I-5 bridge built for them, all lanes should be turned into bike lanes, blah, blah. . No really, I'm all for bikes, on the road (but mainly off road).
Its just funny to see all the negative car comments on this site all the time, but suddenly if there is a picture of a bike on a car's license plate then suddenly cars are great!

I wonder if the newly issued plates are coming sooner then the re-issues for those of us who had to send them back... It better come before the temporary tag expires in a few weeks!

our temp tags expired TWICE in the time it took them to get the design issue figured out. What a pain! Our plates are in the DD series, and we got them about two weeks ago. Our original application went in on Jan 8th, so I think they might be processing those before the ones that need replacing.
And we have a Jeep, not a Subaru ;)

You guys in Oregon have me versions of a licence plate than anywhere else!... This is an awesome cause... I hope the money raised by this goes to a share the road program... though just the awareness is worth much!... Here in BC we need a program like this... I'll have to make the MV dept aware of this programme you have.

seen on a Zipcar too? that's cool. I drive Zipcars, and they all usually have special issue plates, like Cultural Trust, etc., I figured it'd be a matter of time before they got some "Share the Road" tags. Now if they'd start putting racks on top of the Subaru wagons, I'd be totally stoked.
