Our day on Capitol Hill: A slideshow

This story is part of my ongoing coverage of the 2008 National Bike Summit. See the rest of my coverage here.

Robert Ping and Roger Geller got down to business today on Capitol Hill.

I don’t have time for a full wrap-up of how things went for the Oregon delegation (and the other 500+ energized bike advocates) that stormed Capitol Hill today, but I wanted to share my photos with you (view slideshow below) before I run off to the Congressional Reception and party.

You should be very proud of the work done by your Oregon delegation today! (Slideshow is below, it might take a minute to load. You can also see the photo gallery here.)

It was a joy to meet so many of you at the Bike Summit. I was out with my Texas group and we did some great work by getting three congressmen to sign on to the Bike Caucus.
I like when we all work together like this. We will see you all next year then?
