The seventh ride in PDOT's monthly Bike Master Plan ride series will tackle the sometimes daunting routes in southwest Portland.

City bike coordinator Roger Geller says the focus of August's ride will be on Terwilliger and Barbur and will look at some of the challenges that exists for cyclists in this area.

At the midway point, the ride will stop for a brief bite and discussion at a brewpub before heading back to downtown.

The ride is scheduled for August 7th. As usual, the ride meets at 5:15 at Terry Schrunk Plaza at SW 3rd & Madison. More information on these monthly rides can be found on PDOT's Bike Master Plan website.
