Each Friday in their A&E section, the Oregonian features the work of artist and journalist Mike Russell. Last week, the subject of his CulturePulp comic was none other than the lovely and talented mini-bike dance troupe, the Sprockettes.

Not only does Russell share his personality-filled drawings of the Sprockettes in action, he also offers fun dialogue of the ladies during a recent rehearsal (an audio interview is coming soon). His words and drawings do an amazing job of capturing what the Sprockettes are all about.

I highly recommend checking this out for yourself. You can see snippets of the comic (or download the whole thing via PDF) on Russell’s CulturePulp blog.
