Report from Salem: Fixed-gear bill moves forward

Track stand ticket adds to frustration, confusion around enforcement

On Friday, a friend of mine was riding into downtown via the Hawthorne Bridge. As he approached a red light at First Street he came to a stop, but his feet did not leave his pedals (this is known as a track stand).

Bike Oasis coming to Sandy Boulevard

Theft victim "giddy" over recovery of stolen bikes

It's been way too long since I last shared a stolen bike recovery story, so I was very pleased to get a call last week from local theft victim Michael Kloeppel.
Back in December, Michael lost his entire fleet of beloved, high-end bikes when thieves hit his Woodstock home.

No Questions Asked.
It was unlocked out front, and I really want my bike back.
It has front shocks, bar ends, bike bumper stickers, slicks, and other destinguishable features.
